Support Us
Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey provides high quality
reproductive health care and comprehensive, age-appropriate sex education
and information services for more than 25,000 individuals every year. Our
services are accessible to all who need them, regardless of their ability to
pay.
To offer these services, PPCNJ needs dedicated donors - individuals,
corporations, community organizations and foundations - to partner with us
in support of our mission. We need your support.
More than ninety percent of every dollar that we receive is spent for
medical, education and advocacy programs so you can be sure that your
donation will make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities.

"I wanted to share "My Story" from 27 years ago. I was 17 then, 44 now. I
had just become sexually active, and wanted to do the right thing to
keep from getting pregnant - get birth control. So I went to Planned
Parenthood and received the counseling and birth control I needed at a
price that a kid with a part-time job could afford... Thanks so much for
helping me back then, it's my pleasure to be able to support your
organization now."

Ways to Support Planned Parenthood
Financial or cash donations are one of the best ways to help individuals
who can't afford quality reproductive care.
Your contribution will have an immediate and significant impact upon the
well being of women and families in the communities that we serve.
For example, your donation could help:
• a woman receive an annual exam and pap smear
• provide a Sexual Decision Making class for students
• offer STI testing and counseling to a concerned couple, or
• provide birth control counseling services
Every gift makes a difference.
Cash Donations
We accept donations in the form of cash, checks and credit cards. No gift is
too small.
Matching Gift Program
Some companies will match your charitable gift or will donate money to the
charitable organization where you volunteer. Ask your employer for a
matching gift or volunteer form and return the form (with the employee
portion filled out and signed) to PPCNJ with your contribution. We will fill
out the organization section and mail it to your employer and will notify
you when we have received the matching gift.
Gifts of Stock
A gift of stock or bonds to PPCNJ will provide an opportunity for tax
saving, while generously sharing with others.
Tribute/Memorial Gifts
You can honor important people in your life and make a difference in the
lives of many others with your gift to PPCNJ.
Celebrate a baby's arrival, a birthday, a graduation, a wedding anniversary,
or any other joyful event with a gift to PPCNJ; or make a memorial gift in
remembrance of a family member or friend. We have a special acknowledgement
for each gift.
Special Events
Fund-raising events are held throughout the year. They provide a means for
donors to come together, have a good time and help us raise money to support
our programs. Call us at 732-842-9300 or e-mail us to add your name to our
mailing list.

Federal and State laws and regulations have an impact on the reporductive health care and information available to you. Current issues include:
| • |
Pharmacy Access - requiring pharmacies to fill prescriptions for contraception, including emergency contraception, making emergency contraception available without a prescription at local pharmacies. |
| • |
Encouraging comprehensive medically accurate sex education instead of abstinence only education. |
| • |
Ensuring funding forsubsidized family planning for low income women and teens. |
| • |
Protecting access to safe, legal and confidential abortion services. |
